Hello! I'm Quintin Washington. I live in Charleston, South Carolina and I am a journalist. I have worked at several local TV stations in numerous capacities. While in high school, I was a reporter and editor for Burke High School's weekly newscast in Charleston. Moreover, I have written articles and columns for The Post and Courier, The George Street Observer and The Chronicle newspaper--all in Charleston. Along with television and newspaper experience, I have worked in radio as an intern at one of the top-rated radio stations in Charleston. In addition to journalism, I have worked for the City of Charleston and was an intern for the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. I love volunteering in my community. In 2007, I created and organized a town hall meeting to end poverty and homelessness. I am an active runner as well. I ran the 2002 Walt Disney World Marathon in honor of a local leukemia patient. Recently, I served as a reporter/host at WLCN-TV in Charleston.
